Just started House of Suns by Alastair Reynolds that came free with SFX magazine.
I picked up my copy of that too the other day, great give away...
I'm still working my way through Agatha Christie.

My local Waterstones was not involved with the SFX give away so I was unable to get a copy. Mind you, I have enough books waiting to be read anyway, including Alastair Reynolds Terminal World, George Orwell 1984 and George Mackay Brown's A Calander Of Love. So Another book to add to the pending list is probably not a good thing.
I've recently read:
Peter V Brett's The Painted Man in terms of fiction.
Mindless Eating as a bit of non-fiction.
Currently reading Ivanhoe. It's great but it's been a long time since I've read a book and had to have a dictionary to hand at all times.
It's scary to see how much of the English language has gone out of common use.

The Brentford Chainstore Massacre (for the umpteenth [second] time) by you-know-who
The 39 steps (John Buchan)
and plenty of Terry Pratchett on and off
