Greatly appreciated, many thanks.
I have been asked to hold on just a little before pulling the winning ticket, I understand that several people have been waiting to get paid at the end of the month (thank you folks) so, I will pull the ticket at The London Film and Comic Con. 25 days from now.
Thanks to those for their enthusiasm and generosity, we might just come up with a healthy cheque for the charity after all.
Heartening, I thank you.
Just to say, it's only a few days to London Film and Comic Con when I will pull the draw for this raffle. Any generous folk who have not bought a ticket and are just aching to do so, please do so now. All the money is going to the Stroke Association, so your generosity is valued.
Many thanks.
Can't wait for the draw, please try to pick my number
Will you be selling some tickets at the Con too before the actual draw?
There will be only fifty tickets in total sold. I don't know whether we are near that yet, if I can sell a few at the weekend I will try, but no more than fifty. Actually I don't think I should sell tickets to people outside the club, it seems a bit wrong somehow. But it is for a good cause.....hm.....what to do........
Yes, sell only to those who you know will appreciate the price or get more money for charity at the risk of someone getting the price who may not appreciate its true value - tough call, rather you than me on that one
Sell it to people outside the club.
Then if someone buys the ticket and then decides they don't want the prize, Deep will be able to buy it off them on ebay.
Win win all round and more cash for the charity.
Erm, a fool proof plan?
OK the idea is to sell 50 tickets, I suppose it doesn't matter who buys them. I could always sell tickets at the event then not put their names in the hat. Would that be fair do you think?
Or should I just keep the proof and say I lost it?
Or should I just shut up?
How about selling 50 tickets and then making photocopies of the proof.
Then everybody's a winner
