Have read The Abominable Showman by some unknown young author (he'll be massive trust me)
& also read The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer, a pretty good (and disturbing read)
Just read Titus Alone by Melvyn Peak
On to Small Gods next by Pratchett
Just discovered Jasper Fforde and just finished 'Shades of Grey'. Brilliant!
Only problem was, people kept saying 'Ooh, you're reading that naughty book!' and ignoring my cries of 'No No! It's a comedy dystopia where people are valued for their ability to see colour!'

I love that book, I emailed Jasper asking for when the SOG2 was due out he said 2013 back then!. Then it was 2015 and so far I think its due 2016/2017
Ooh! A prequel!
I suppose it makes sense as all the burning questions lie in the past.
I noticed the Amazon page was full of reviews for book 2 and I thought I'd missed something until I realised they all said 'Hurry up!"
Only read The Eyre Affair so far, though I do have a few others on the shelf.
Rankin never seemed very impressed with the success of The Big Over Easy, coming as it did 3ish years after Hollow Chocolate Bunnies.
I'm currently reading Omnivore by Piers Anthony
now on The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
Orn by Piers Anthony
The Mount by Carol Emshwiller
