& Radio Free Albemuth by Philip K Dick
Really, prob not one of his best, but I still thought it was quite good
Now onto - Footfall by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle
Replay by Ken Grimwood
Replay was pretty decent
Now onto The Children are Watching by Laird Koenig & Peter Dixon
Just read my first Jasper Fforde novel.
Same sort of stuff as RR but a bit safer and more middle class. Probably a good read for anyone who prefers Pratchett to Rankin. I'll try a couple more.
Which did you read?
I've read The Eyre Affair, thought it was ok, quite a good concept (though I prob missed some of the clever literary references)
I've got some others lined up on the shelf
Yup, that was the one.
Every charity shop in Croydon has a copy because they did a special print run for "World Book Night" a couple of years ago.
I have no others, but would pick one up if I saw it for a quid or less.
Ahhh yes those World Book Night - "Not for resale, please give or pass on th share the experience of reading" - editions
I was a "giver" (oo-er) one year, with Iain M Banks' The Player of Games
Coincidently I've just got back from town where I picked up Something Rotten for just £1
Now reading Encounter with Tiber by Buzz Aldrin & John Barns
A supprisingly strong start so far
