Yes indeed good Doctor, though some years back now, though it was very good. I saw it reviewed in the Red Dwarf Smegazine (where I also 1st heard of Mr Rankin)
Also just starting Childhood's End by Arthur C Clarke
Andi, are you reading it for the SFX Bookclub?
Youre going to have to beat my record of 6 times having my comments in the mag. Though I seem to remember you were there a while back. You are slipping up sir. Step up to the plate and impress them journo types.
Indeed I am Iain
I've had a few printed not sure how many though?
I don't read stuff just because it's up for SFX specifically, but if a book comes up for the club article that's on my list, then it gets a bump up...
I am about half way through the last of my “held back” Robert Rankin books, and I am so glad I kept it till last, its Apocalypso. And what a cracking book it is!
Lined up next on my shelf are:
Apocalypse Cow by Michael Logan
And
News from Gardenia by Robert Llewellyn (of Red Dwarf fame (a kick-starter project))
Currently reading Man Plus by Fredrick Pohl
Just re-read Armageddon The Musical, funny thing is couldn't get into to it the first time I readn it(many years ago). This time, I really enjoyed it and will now, after finishing the last Game of thrones book (A dance with dragons)am looking forward to reading the other two in the series.
