Hello there folks, if you recall, last year I auctioned the one and only signed and personally dedicated proof copy of Necrophenia to raise money for the Stroke Association. A goodly sum was raised too. So, I have now in my possession the first ever proof copy of Retromancer. I will promise that this will be the only signed copy ever and that it will come with a set of one-off prints of the tarot cards (as these are not printed in the proof copy) the money will go to the Stroke Association as this is Neil's choice of charity, and he is making the radio series of this book. And if I can chuck in any other collectables I will. By the by, I really appreciate the generosity of all concerned, this kind of stuff matters.
Cheers and who'll say a tenner?
All the bestest
Robert

Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
Is there a bidding war brewing here? I just put the euro lottery on so you both could lose by Saturday
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
I fear not, I shall leave Random in the driving seat. Never let it be said that I stood between a gentleman and his dreams!
Not that I can't beat him, and have other bills coming up or anything, no no no no.
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
Ten minutes to midnight and the draw closing....
£250
but of course the rules do say that any bid resets the clock for 48Hrs from that bid (and yes I know I said 24Hrs in response to Robert but all the other post say 48 so that's what we'll stick with).
The game is afoot
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
31hrs and 40mins to go
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
Damn your eyes Ian!
£260.
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
I so wanted this but what with the printer giving up and needing a new one (and I do need one with the job and the club to run) which I went and bought today it has now reached my end of budget available, Damn you Geoff
45hrs and 15mins and it's yours - unless, of course, someone knows better - or if I can find some extra funds
Ian.
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
*whew*
Don't worry Ian, I;m sure you can bid up on the next one.
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
Nearly missed it: £275
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
And so the clock resets
Any more bids? You have until 1242Hrs on Wdnesday 23rd to get one in and reset the clock. Exciting isn't it
As for me, I'm out as John has well surpassed my bidding potential
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
Hmm, time for me to ask for a pay rise methinks. I'll be back!
