So who was the author then? Or should I best drop this line of questioning & just call you a Philistine?
Not quite sure what you two guys are on about (Andi and Billy) but if its philistines and the bible the first reference appears here....
Now the Philistines gathered their forces for war and assembled at Sokoh in Judah. They pitched camp at Ephes Dammim, between Sokoh and Azekah. Saul and the Israelites assembled and camped in the Valley of Elah and drew up their battle line to meet the Philistines. The Philistines occupied one hill and the Israelites another, with the valley between them.
....If you can trust this interweb thing......
Oh - and if its a question of who is - I'm on Billy's side Sorry Andi
And Lo Samuel could not sit down with David or Goliath for a pint of mead to mediate as he was under age being only 17 and it would have been his shout.

No pentagram. The Brentford Griffin has a nice face though
The Brentford Griffin has a nice face
Agreed I like it
I'm reading The Antipope on the Kindle after having read the paperback probably 20 years ago (ish) but something jarred me. It was published in the early eighties right?, so when I read this it stuck out...
"They were clad in only the scantiest of costumes and looked like escapees from some gay nineties Chicago brothel."
Nineties?
Odd.
'81 I believe.
Two possibilities:
Predicting events of a decade hence
Or maybe one of the things Robert edited in for the e-versions?
