I know there as to be some sort of membership fee,but for someone who is out of work and one of the comforts i get is reading,especialy sci fi out of the ordinary books,i just cant afford the membership.Thats it realy.I daresay a lot of people will say,"well.so what,are we bothered".and i guess a lot of people will agree with me,but just giving my views,Dave.

You're still welcome to post as a non-member 
You can still turn up at our outings as a non member, I believe the membership fee is just to cover the magazine.
I attended as a woman, sorry, 'non member' a couple of times, and when i could afford it (had a job) I bought membership for me n the wife, just to support the team. no-one will chuck you out of the pub, just try to join as and when you can. Nice people I see rarely but enjoy spending time with once they remember who i am.
