As for the brothel thing in Australia, I am sure I saw on TV somewhere that brothels had been legalised in Melbourne, though there was some grey area regarding the whole prostitution/soliciting thing. Having also been to Melbourne to get married I found that the Aussies are anything but prudish, in fact they tend to be very relaxed about just about everything. Unlike us brits.
