Oh dear me. Contacted by the director of the Hive Bar today and told that they now have a new ruling about live amplified music. It is banned. Given what they were charging me for the evening and the closing at 11PM, I have decided to pull the plug on this venue and see if I can come up with another more suitable for having a good time.
So. sorry about that, I will let you know what's what as soon as I know something.

plans are afoot and with any luck the event will still happen at the same time and in Brentford - don't start cancelling hotels etc and an answer will be forthcoming ASAP.............
It's getting incredibly hard to book venues nowadays. I don't know why they don't just put up a sign.
