Is there any more info on the content?
What games are planned - ie what type of games. I play Live Action Freeform so would be very interested if there are any or could there be room for any.
How many sign ups so far?
I haven't heard of any Freeform, but if you're feeling creative and speak to the powers that be (or just wait for them to see this thread) I'm sure a slot can be found for it if people are keen to do it.
According to bag space and comedy potential I might be bringing along some vaguely mythos-themed games like "Do You Worship Cthulhu?" (It's werewolf but with cultists) for some in-bar amusement rather than mainstream items.
I haven't heard a great deal yet about the details of any games, but there are threads elsewhere regarding guests and entertainment, and I'm sure info on other panel items will appear soon enough.

I'm sure you will all reassured to hear that a professional, competant and highly trained committee of experts (or bunch of feckin idiots) are working night and day on programming for the con .
However, we are on the lookout for ideas and having played werewolf before (which was loads of fun) I'm sure we can find a space for some Live Action Freeform.
As volunteers are always wellcome gwaunquest,
if you are interested in running this then please contact me or Ian.
Any one else out there with any ideas, let us know and if theres any space we will put it on.
Dosn't matter how wierd sick or disturbing your idea is you never know.....You might end up being tied to a cross and licked by Robert (Damn Fine Convention) Having your private bits zapped (Zombiecon) or drinking mind bending cocktails (They came and shaved us).
Buy me a pint and I might just tell you about the programme items that got rejected. I'll give you a clue.....one of the working titles for the con was "TortureCon"
My favourite ideas include.. inter hotel golf at the Starfleet Ball, every corridor of the hotel had people playing golf with childrens sets, much shouting as anyone opened their doors!
I loved having dry ice in the drinks at the Quarks Bar.
I really like the idea of a good late night movie and as I have just discovered Cthulhu in Mythoscope maybe that should be screened!!
Can we have pyrotecnic talks, they have a great following, even if they are usually moved to the kids sandpits!

Werewolf is always good for a giggle. I do happen to know of a cultist variation, same principle, but it's cultists sacrificing villagers instead...
OK YOU GUYS & GALS........
I know this has been sent out in the newsletter, but we are so excited at Goldensprout Central that why not post it here as well......
