Re: Formating Text

When posting, you should be able to expand the "Input Format" section. You'll then see the More information about formatting options link. If you click it, it will summarise all the formatting tags available to you.

I'm hoping to have WYSIWYG editing also available soon.

By the way, I'm afraid you have to use American rather then British spelling for the "Color" tag.

Re: Formating Text

Thanks James, but a little long winded. A nice highlight & click thing would be good, but no hurry

Re: Formating Text

If you change your input formet (using the option just below the message entry box) to "Rich Text" you get a toolbar with formatting options. Is that what you're after?

That sound like what I'm after, but I see no "rich text" option

Re: Formating Text

Do you see a link that says "Input  format"? If so, click it and you should get more options.

Maybe I only get it 'cause I'm an admin though? Puzzled

Hi Tim,

Unfortunately not everyone has access to this - it's limited to trusted users with Admin privileges. I can't make it available to everyone as it allows the posting of potentially unsafe HTML and would make the site susceptible to cross site scripting.

I'm hoping I can make a more limited version of it available to everyone soon.

Try using the filtered HTML option and see what you get. I've enabled limited rich text support for it.

Oooo yes that's better, can be default or do we have to click on Filtered HTML?
