I had this thought about mounting a campaign to get certain people to be invited to the SFX weekender.... Yeah we would all welcome Peter Dinklage for his performance of Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, but I have a better idea.

Claudia Christian. yeah her that played Ivanova in Babylon 5. Its been a good few years since B5 was made. A rather startling umber of years in fact. It has inspired SF tv makers to write story arcs rather than one off disposable episodes that end up contradicting themselves as time goes on.  She had to my mind the most interesting character with the exception of Gkar and Londo Mollari, but Andreas Katsulas is sadly no longer with us. And it wouldnt be the same just having Peter Jurasik.

Most of all though, I think she is damned hot. Which is enough for me, though perhaps not for you.... But hey it would make my year! Give it some thought and if you agree with me, hit the SFX forum and hassle em.

Well its not long to go now. Got things sorted out for the pub quiz, the old team is back in town. Costumes are pretty much sorted too, though we had to have a bit of a change of plan due in part to not being able to find what we wanted. Money all fixed for beer and giggles. Perhaps even buying a book or two.

In the imortal words of Vasquez in Aliens..... LETS ROCK!!!

Dr Hill, rahter sad to say that the well of imagination ran dray last year. I think we drank too deeply and have now come up empty. But we do have some costumes, just not as good as last years....

In any case its about the comradeship, the beer and the sci-fi. Ok bugger the Sf and the comradeship... its about the beer.
