Though clearly not a patch on the original, at least as good as Back to Earth

Back to Earth was like the Phantom Menace, got all excited, counted down the days till till it came on then.......oh dear. I think I only laughed once when Rimmer pushed the other hologram under the bus and that was a rip off from Family Guy. If they are going to do any more, please please please put some jokes in.

They are apparently doing series 9 & 10 right now

Yeah I heard that.... I just hope the writing has improved a little. Red Dwarf can be astonishingly funny or it can be a massive let down. Lets hope for the former.

It was usually Rob Grant who wrote the funny bits, so not al that much hope there...

I check that damn Red Dwarf site every day & there's rarely anything good on it. We went away on Friday & of course FREE tickets come up, I miss it untill we get back (about 30 mins ago) & now they're sold out.

I suspect this is no consolation but they sold out in 30 mins on Friday and cashed the website. They went on sale at 2:30 I logged on at 2:40 ish and the site was down...I have my name on the waiting list but I am not holding any hope
