Just this week I have again listened to the fantastic BBC audio book that is The Brightonomicon , however this time I took more interest in the “end” cd. I was thinking it would be great to my hands on an unedited version.
So my question is will there ever be a “director’s cut” as suggested on the cd for purchase or download? Also if Retromancer is going onto a “BBC” style audio book would Robert and Neil (among a lot of others) ever release an directors cut of both? Puzzled

I have just read through the 15 episodes of Retromancer and I can tell you I think the whole thing is absolutely wonderful, Elliott Stein has done an amazing sympathetic and sensitive adaptation and I'm really looking forward to hearing it. I believe the hope is to have it done by July, but it will be a lot of work. Watch this space.

Erm.....er.....er......thanks but if it’s ok with you I will stick with the “nurse when happy dance” and take my chances, nothing against the “The Bungle Boogie” you understand; you just have to go with what you know! Smiling

So...
When (if ever) is the Retromancer audio/radio play going to happen?
It's gone verrrry quiet.

This maybe one for Captain Fantastic (I think Mr + Mrs Rankin are out of the UK).  I had the pleasure of sitting asking Robert this very question in the Flying Swan in Brentford, his answer was the script is all done but the funding was as issue, this was in September 2010.
