SFX WEEKENDER. HAVE YOU CHECKED?
I have just discovered on the Pontins website (and Okay you might have discussed this already on another thread and I've missed it, but I thought I'd better mention it anyway) some of the accomodation there requires that you bring your own bed linen, towels and pay for your own electricity(FUCKIN"HELL!!). I've no idea what sort of room I have and am chasing up on it, but please do check as it could be a damn cold weekend on a duvetless bed!
A freak accident with my linear accelerator has resulted in my possessing a picture of the SFX crowd enjoying Pontins' hospitality:
I was aware of the electricity charging & that there may be no towels, but wasn't aware of poss lack of bedding - will take sleeping bags along I reckon. Ta Robert
Yeah I decided to bring sleeping bag just in case as well. Isn't that clear whether bedding is included!!
That's certainly the way I read it - No bedding, no towels and electrickery comes on a paid for card

so basically they give you a roof and that's it? Or does that cost extra too?
Rang SFX and they tell that bed linen is provided but possibly not towels depending on the accommodation you have booked.

Hang on, I paid for two VIP tickets for this bash. I am gonna have to pay for my own electricty? Bring my own towels and bedding? Are they out of their friggin minds? I could stay in a 5 star hotel for the weekend for less than I paid for my wife and I to be there. This is not good enough. I think a message on the SFX forum is in order....
