Doctor When's Birthday

Doctor When will be celebrating his birthday in Brum on the 6th of Feb and would be pleased to see any Sprouts who wish to come along.
In his own words
'Returning to the venue for the First Birthday Bash (2007) at the City Tavern, I present Dr. When's 4th Birthday Bash!
Help me celebrate another year without being arrested for Indecent Behaviour by coming along and being lovely on February 6th, 2010 at the City Tavern on Bishopsgate Street (that's at the top end of Broad Street, just behind the Cineworld - only minutes from the bright lights and dubious WKD-fuelled clientele of Birmingham's "slag alley").
As usual, the dress code is "dress to impress" and I take a lot of impressing - but I'm glad to say previous years' turnouts have never yet failed to impress me with the level of awesomeness and sexiness of my friends.
Burlesquers, Steampunks, Historical Re-enactors and Other Sexy Folk... come one, come all and have a lovely time. There will be music, real ale and funs.'

Shana Tova are a lovely local 3-piece who are planning on wearing tweeds and goggles for that steampunk feel!
BoogieDave is a bit of a local club legend, and will be providing "bear sick dubs" (as I believe the young folk say) for those with the stamina to remain awake after 11:45pm. Massive.
The Sugarfoot Stomp will be represented by two of the lovely lady DJs from their famously eclectic club nights, playing all your favourite tunes from the 1920s to the 1970s
amoebaboy, is coming out of DJ retirement and will be opening the evening with a variety of ska, funk, reggae and other dance-floor fillers.

Sounds good. Dressing up could be a problem though, as my usual attire tends towards "plain" if not downright "casual"...
Don't worry, there will be others there in normal clothes.

It doesn't say it's his 4th Birthday, just that it's his 4th Birthday Bash...... presumably he's had many other Birthdays, but only 3 of them had bashes...... 
Would love to come, but unfortunately the 6th is a work leaving do - they moved it to the Saturday because I was off on the Friday, so it would probably be poor form not to make it. Sorry.

Well I'll certainly be coming - and I shall probably be dragging along a mate who lives down in Brum.
I say pah, and fi to all those who are crying off with limp excuses of being somewhere else at the same time. It's 2010, get yourselves a prosthetic body replacement!
