Back in the good old Sproutlore days (January 06) the club ran a very popular Jack The Ripper tour. For my sins I have been talked into organising a walk for my friends at work. As our last "Saucy Jack" day was 4 years ago, is there any interest in a Golden Sprout Ripper tour? If it does go ahead it will be on a Saturday, possibly in April.

Over to you Eye-wink

Sounds good to me, but only if the number of women at the end of the tour is not less than the number of women at the start. Sticking out tongue

All I can tell you is that we had the same number at the beginning and at the end. Whether or not they were the same ones I can't tell for legal reasons Barf!

Last time was great.

Would you make it different for a 2nd run?

EDIT - I know you can't change the actual history, but I mean would you do anything different from last time?

I'll see what I can do, the trouble the more I add, the longer the walk = less time in the pub. A new bit will be where the Elephant man was exihibited in London, luckily opposite the London Hospital. The Hospital have their own museum with Merricks hat and mask along with a cast taken from his head. the bad news is that its only open Monday to Friday and no matter how hard I tried they would not open for us on a Saturday.

I'm only interested if there are more women at the end than there were at the start?

Or I'm prepared to be swayed if there's a possibility of beer being involved somewhere during the day?

Hmm I can see how Jack the Ripper and Doctor Frankenstein could have a symbiotic relationship here.
However, to end up with MORE, I think we'd need to ask Dr Hill to add Burke and Hare to the tour which could seriously reduce drinking time.

Or are you just going to haul them in off the streets? Sticking out tongue

Has there ever been a sprouty outing (sprouting?) that hasn't involved beer at some point? Or in fact one that hasn't essentially revolved around beer?

Timmeh, have no fears......last time we started in a pub, half way round we stopped off for a beer or two then finished in a pub. That will be the plan for the next walk. Laughing out loud

Gaz in answer to your question.......no.
