Yes indeed - woe, woe and thrice woe! I am in fact said Library but I've had to change my name for legal reasons. I'll still be updating all and sundry on Library News, and of course the condition of my butresses.

This is indeed dire news, after last years close call I thought all was saved - anyone got info on dates etc Bungle where are you, help.......
Maybe (hopefully) it's all a clever ruse to have a closing down party, followed by a re-opening party, and repeat every few months...
Hope youre right Gaz. Sadly times are hard for the pub trade. They seem to beig hit particularily badly by the economic downturn and a government that thinks Tesco should be able to sell booze much cheaper then anyone on the face of the planet. End result, good pubs like The Magpie and Crown close. Its a shite state of afairs.
Several pubs have closed around derby in the last couple of years. One has even reopened as a Tesco
