A thread for any references to Brentford you find, outside of Rankin novels.

I'm currently reading "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley & was plesantly supprised to see a reference to both Ealing & Brentford.

Brentford is home to a Television Corporation factory the size of a small town. Guess John & Jim were sleeping on the job when that happened

If I remember rightly (some chance there) There is also a mention on the sleve notes on The Who's album Quadraphenia, something along the lines off ' People say I am mad, But standing in the rain on a saturday morning to get tickets to see Brentford play, thats mad'

just what you would expect from a Q.P.R. suporter (well it was set in the Bush) (Shepards that is)

And allthought its not Brentford I did see some Poirot the other day and it was reveiled that Inspector Jap lived in Isleworth.
