Thought this would be of interest to a few here, it is to me
Yes, I'm intending to go and see it
I take it there's not enough interest to make a sprOuting of it then.
Depending on when it was planned I'd be interested in joining a group trip.
Couple of hours each way for me on the magic of public transport.
Well we're up to a possible 3 so far. Maybe 4, though Doctor When's got so many gigs now, I probably won't see him again until May.
It's a train trip for me - but easily doable I would have thought. I've got holiday to burn as well, so why not? My inner sheep now awaits someone else's decisions as to times
Edit: Well, I've just looked on the ticket website for prices, and **** that I'll drive down!
Heck, why wait. Anybody good for the 24th of October?
My calendar is empty that day... so yup!
Lawks a mercy! Doctor When has a gap in his calendar and wants to come too.
Anybody else?
It says on the webpage "admission is free".
Allllll riiiight....
Shall we convene upon the portal at opening hour? With appropriate breaks for refreshment and whatnot throughout the day?
Sounds good to me!
All we need is a real ale pub next door with steam powered bar billiards and we're all set.
We're currently running at 3 confirmed.
Geoff, can you make it?
Any more?
Julia & I could possible make it along, given enough time to plan it (babysitting & all)
My 2009 CAMRA good beer guide lists 12 Real Ale pubs in Oxford (over half within a short walk)
&
http://www.tradgames.org.uk/locations/Bar-Billiards.htm lists several pubs with bar billiards (non are very close by though)
