The postal strike couldn't stop it. Received Issue Three and ... the badge!
I can get into free museums for free now can't I?
Either way I feel all official now.
Huzzah!
not got my issue yet
and wots this about a blue peter sounding badge?
It's the little membership badge 'cause I is all new
I always hated Blue Peter, I still wanted a badge though. I stared at one on ebay for a full five minutes once before deciding against it or thirsting for beer and leaving the house... I forget which.
I've gone all luvvy because I've been published
I finally got the last batch in the post today
They should be with you all soon I hope but do keep in mind the 'unofficial' strikes which are affecting the main sorting office in London through which most of the mail I send will pass
Give it until next Thu / Fri and if nothing has arrived think about dropping me a line.
Also, I did take the magazine, in envelope as sent to all members, to my local post office and yet again get it checked for weight / size / postage. If anyone gets an excess postage due then please do go to your local collection point, tell them to F**k off and then send the evidence (labels, notifications etc) to me, I have launched an official complaint with the post office and now need collaberating evidence to get money out of them
Not even the unions of the postal workers can stop the mighty Golden Sprout.
What are they on strike for anyway? Someone drop a hat or something? Worse than the bloody trains that lot I can tell you. Theyre lucky to have a job and should be bloody grateful.
Just dropped through the door (1pm, that would have been 2nd post in the old days).
Quick flick through, looks good
Just got mine, Whoot!
Ian, you tease, you told me there wasn't room for my article!

That's what he says to all the sailors, but it turns out there's plenty of room
Thought I'd squeze it in Helen, Oeer Missus, as it was such a good piece and it's a pleasure to support Mr Rankin Juniors work when he is so supportive of the club....
Loved your piece on The Asylum
Oh and Tim, you should know it's soldiers I play with, not sailors
Loved your piece on The Asylum
Trying to interview Robert was a superb illustration of the wonderful, technicolour world that is Robert Rankin.
