This maybe a contentious area but what is your favourite Robert Rankin book cover and why?
I have several, but the one stands out for me is ......The Most Amazing Man Who Ever Lived (the first edition) it’s very striking and I love it, but I also love the cartoon characters of the Antipope etc Pan editions.
Anyone else got a favourite?

Hmmm favorite cover? Not to

Hmmm favorite cover? Not to sure, I rather like the coffin phone on "Fandom..." (I was amazed how big it was when I saw the real life model

I wasn't too keen on the old "Book of Ultimate Truths" - "Sprout Mask..." covers. I much prefer the Sculptures in general. The "Website Story" screen & the "Snuff Fiction" teapot are especially cool Cool

I have just spent several

I have just spent several months in negotiations with Orion about the total repackaging of my books. In December the paperbacks will be relaunched in a slightly bigger format and each with a new illustrated cover drawn by me. It was a lot of work (eight covers, each illustration is circular and has a separate border) I hope to preview them in an upcoming club magazine. The lettering, with my name in a sort of psychedelic logo style (I love it) has been designed by some top fellow in New York, and the backgrounds are metalic-colourised. I am very pleased with how the new covers look and I do hope that folk like them.

Of course this means that all you completists out there (and I love you so much) will need to purchase eight paperbacks.

But hey, they are coming out in time for Christmas.

Possibly if I get jpeg jobbies of the new covers sent to me we can post them up on this thread.

Sounds interesting. Apart

Sounds interesting. Apart from those 8, will the rest remain the same then?

Does this mean no more sculptures?Jawdropping!

Presumably Orion have no

Presumably Orion have no rights to publish any of the ones originally published by Transworld?

Some of them have been out of print for quite some time. How long do they have to be out of print before the rights revert back to Robert and he can offer them to Orion (or another publisher)?

James, do you know for sure

James, do you know for sure that some of the Transworld titles are out of print? And if so, which ones? Because the rights return to me if they haven't published a title for a year. Each time I speak to them they assure me that all the titles are still in print.
