Issue 2
My copy of issue 2 of the new mag arrived today.
Looks good. The use of colour works much better & the layout is nice.

Mine arrived too - strangely it had an "insufficient postage" sticker on it that the postie seems to have kindly ignored... hope other folks don't get nobbled by this!
Hmmm, that's worrying Gaz....
To be honest this issue is on the cusp of the limit for both weight and thickness for the standard 2nd class postage applied but the one I tested at my local post office was fine....
It could be down to how much they were squashed prior to posting, what with the badges and eye-patches.
If anyone else has problems or worse yet has to pay excess post then I do apologise - I hope the goodies with it make up for this and you will forgive this glitch, please do feel free to drop me a line via the admin link
There are other goddies planned for future issues so I will double check postage rates before posting.

Just checked the envelope more closely - there's one of those funny barcode-like stickers on it too, that the sorting office put on, and it partly obscures the insufficient postage sticker, meaning it was put on afterwards.
I therefore assume that someone put the insufficient postage sticker on early in the process, then the sorting office re-checked it and over-ruled it, hence the barcode sticker over the top. So probably most people will be OK.
Anyway, looks like a great issue, I look forward to giving it my full attention on the toilet this morning...
No extraneous stickers on the outside of mine.
Incidently did the badges / eye patches go out to all or just those signed up to the 100th bash?

The badges have gone to everyone who is a paid up member of the new fan-club and are the promised membership badges - If you are still on the carry-over from sproutlore then you won't have got one, sorry - but you will get one with issue three if / when you renew.......
These badges, in the white, will not be sold so the only way you can have one is by being a member! There is also a black background one and this will be available on the club shop soon and available to anyone..........
The eye-patches are a freebie to promote the party, hope you enjoy them (they took ages to make). They went to everyone except our overseas members, sorry guys and gals, postage costs are an issue. There are plans for other freebies in the future that are not purely promotional and you will not be left out of this - promise

I too had the postage problem, and my postie ignored it as well so all good there.
Liked the new issue as well, they keep getting better, can't wait for the next one.
